What You Need to Know

TERMS & POLICIES

FIRST TIME HAIR EXTENSION GUEST:

  • Agree to Terms, Conditions & Policies

  • Complete Digital Consultation Form*​

  1. Now that is out of the way, lets make a date to meet in person to more deeply discuss all your hair goals & preferences and get this party started! 

  2. Once we receive your completed Terms & Policies agreements and Digital Consultation your stylist will review it and reach out to you via email to confirm your in-salon consultation date. 

  3. A $50 Non Refundable/Non Transferable Booking Fee will apply to this appointment and deducted from your final balance.

  • Book In Salon Consultation

  1. At this appointment we will more deeply discuss your hair goals, lifestyle and more as well as make final selections: application method, extension length, color, etc. 

  2. Next, we will discuss your initial and longterm financial investment, payment plans, perform a color match and get your custom hair order placed. 

  3. First time hair extensions guests can expect to invest anywhere between $275 - $2,000+. Our first time Hidden Bead (hand tied) guests can expect an initial investment of $450 - $2,000+

  4. A 50% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be collected to secure your install appointment and to place your custom hair extension order.

  5. Your install appointment will be scheduled for approximately 2 weeks from your in salon consultation.

  6. You may be required to book a color/blonding service depending on your specific hair goals.

  • Install Appointment

  1. Policies have been agreed to, digital and in salon consultation completed, deposit collected, custom hair extensions ordered - now for the BEST part! Its time to get the hair you have been dreaming of!

  2. Please ensure you arrive on time and with clean, dry hair.

  3. Application time varies, however, you can expect a 3 hr service in general depending on method chosen, hair length, custom color services added, etc.

  4. As a part of your Custom Hair Extension package you will receive human hair extensions, customized, installed, cut, blended and styled for the most seamless and natural blend as well as a professional quality After Care product bundle and access to our Hair Extension After Care Library (coming soon!) which includes helpful pdf and video instructions and tutorials to help you take care of your new locks!

  5. Custom color and/or blonding services will be at an additional charge.

  6. At Gloss Hair Studio it isn't just about the amazing custom services you receive, its about the experience. We provide a variety of customizable complimentary offerings (please reference your digital consultation to select your preferences) to ensure your comfort and an unforgettable experience. For our more extensive hair extension services we provide a complimentary catered lunch from Coffee Rani Mandeville. 

  7. As a part of our Custom Hair Extension service package, we may take before/after photos and/or video which may be used for marketing purposes across multiple social media platforms, our website, printed marketing material, etc. We will ALWAYS ask your permission first and require a signed media release form. Your comfort and privacy will ALWAYS be our first priority.

  8.  Hair extension install service appointments MUST be confirmed. Once  all available options of making contact have been exhausted we may cancel your appointment. If your appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your scheduled install day/time your deposits will be forfeited and a $150 cancellation fee will apply prior to any future service requests being accepted. Acceptance of Future appointments will be at the discretion of your stylist. In the event of an emergency please reach out to your stylist via email help@gloss-hair-studio.com this is the fastest and most efficient form of communication with your stylist. 

  • After Care

  1. You have the hair you have always dreamed of, now what? Hair Extensions are a luxury, high maintenance service and require extra intentional care to ensure the health and longevity of both your hair extensions and natural hair. 

  2. To make this high maintenance hairstyle as low maintenance as possible we have included 3 months access to our Hair Extension After Care Subscription Program to all our professional hair extension install guests.

  3.  Included in the After Care Membership is a private library full of helpful pdf & video tutorials & guides, a 3 month supply of our professional quality hair care products specifically formulated for the unique needs of hair extension wearers, our Extension Repair/Refresh Service included at every move-up appointment as well as a monthly customized preventative hair care checkup and RX plan.
    Our After Care Plan makes it easy to ensure the quality of your investment through a     customized     preventative maintenance routine. We also offer the opportunity to pre-book a-la-carte services including weekly wash & styles, extension refresh and custom color services to keep you Glowing on the Go!

  • Maintenance 

  1. I will need to see you every 6-8 weeks for regular move-up services. This prevents natural hair breakage and allows an opportunity for preventative maintenance to keep your natural hair and extensions in its best condition.

  2. This service includes: Removal, Wash, Reinstall, cut & blend (if wanted/needed) and styling of your hair extensions.

  3. This service does not require a cut or blowout style of your natural hair so please come with your hair freshly cleansed and dry.

  4. If you would like to add additional services, like our Extension Repair/Refresh (Highly Recommended), we can do that for the standard charges of those services.

  • Longterm Expectations

  1. On average, you will invest in new hair extensions every 3-9 months depending on how well you wear and care for them. 

  2. . We typically start suggesting our guests begin replacing a few wefts around the 4 month mark, this allows you to spread the cost of new hair out over several months without sacrificing quality. 

  3. We strongly encourage our hair extensions guests to protect their investment by taking advantage of  our hair extension after care program, services, products and resources. When utilized as recommended, guests are able to enjoy their hair extensions for their full life expectancy and up to 2 additional months while ensuring natural hair health and gorgeous style.

  • Please Note:

You will be asked to accept these Terms of Service & Salon Policies below before we can accept your in-salon consultation appointment request.
